The Social Code Foundation builds an egalitarian world in which everyone can share equally in the benefits technology can offer humanity.

That includes influencing how decisions are made about technologies that fundamentally change our society, and giving citizens — as the largest stakeholders — an active and direct voice in a process usually dominated by small groups within governments, business, and influential organizations. The Social Code contributes to a society in which the collective builds the technological landscape: one that benefits everyone, strengthens the democratic rule of law, and keeps power and wealth from concentrating with a few at the expense of many.

The foundation pursues these goals by, among other things, running awareness campaigns, making and offering tools that give its principles real force, and supporting initiatives whose aims or practices align with its own. All of this in the broadest sense, where it relates to the overarching purpose or helps advance it.

The foundation serves the public interest and has no profit motive.
